His censure comes at a critical time for the interests of informal and illegal miners, in a week in which the Government had presented a new Law on Small-scale and Artisanal Mining (MAPE), and less than a month before the deadline for informal miners registered in the Comprehensive Registry of Mining Formalization (Reinfo) to comply with the formalization requirements.
